What I do.

My purpose is to help other people and organisations articulate their purpose so they can do more good in the world.

Besides a short-lived stint in the private sector, my whole career has been about helping social sector organisations achieve their aims.

I created Purposeful Marketing in 2017 to help charities and social enterprises with small – or non-existent – marketing communication teams through critical stages of their development.

I do this by:

  • creating insight-led marketing campaigns
  • developing brands with purpose
  • writing compelling content
  • hitting strategic objectives quickly and creatively.


Before setting up Purposeful Marketing I worked at Family Action, Sense and Catch22.

I hold a Diploma in Digital Marketing, I am a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, a professional mentor for Charity Comms, a strategic partner on the London & Partners Business Growth Programme and a communications volunteer for Stepney City Farm. 


I work alongside a clever and creative team of freelancers, which means we can operate like a marketing agency, minus the agency prices.

Georgie Lowry, design

Georgie is an experienced graphic designer with a background in mathematics and a flair for art. Working primarily in the charity sector, Georgie is a natural problem solver who loves collaborating to resolve design challenges.

Laura is an expert in digital performance and data analysis. She works across multiple sectors to help organisations to get the best out of their digital marketing channels.
